Our Pittsford center is located in a residential neighborhood at 211 Tobey Road. Every part of the center offers a home-like atmosphere. Storybook has been at this location since 1965, and is very much embedded in the Pittsford community. The center is licensed for 43 children, giving it that small personal feel.
This location has two amazing playgrounds and a large side yard for planting gardens, playing ball and exploring the outdoors.
We have made many upgrades to this location, including a large back deck with a screened in infant-porch, a new front walk, and freshly painted classrooms. We invite you to come take a tour to get a feel for the facility and staff.
To set up a tour please call Breann, our center Director at 585-381-7120 or email her at email@example.com

Lead Infant Teacher
Cindy Byers began her childcare career in 1986 when she graduated from Cazenovia College with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Cindy has always known that she wanted to make working with children her career. In 1995 Cindy was lucky enough to become a stay at home mom. However, 18 years later she went back into the workforce and began her career here at Storybook as the infant lead teacher.
Cindy has been a true asset to Storybook. She shows great sensitivity and respect for families and their culture, values, and beliefs. She is wonderful with the younger children. She is very creative when it comes to art activities with the infants. You can see all the cute projects around her classroom. Cindy also does a great job teaching little ones sign language. That way younger babies who cannot talk can communicate their needs with sign language. She is a very patient caregiver and responds to the needs of the babies very quickly.
Lead Toddler Teacher
Abby McGrath joined the Storybook team with more than 5 years experience working as a Lead Toddler Teacher, as well as nannying for private families. Her favorite thing about working with children is watching them grow and learn new things and she loves when they can open up and be silly.
When she's not at Storybook she enjoys spending time with her husband Matthew and 1 year old baby boy Declan (who is also a student at Storybook). She also loves shopping, baking, crafting, coffee, hanging out with family and friends, and being outdoors.
Abby has been a great addition to Storybook in the Pre-Toddler room. She is able to keep the children's attention very easily when doing projects and activities with them. She loves to dance and get on the floor and play with them at their level.
